Wonderocity » best friends http://wonderocity.com finding wonder in everyday life Mon, 30 Jan 2012 20:47:11 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.3.1 Being Free and Trouble-Maker http://wonderocity.com/being-free-and-trouble-maker http://wonderocity.com/being-free-and-trouble-maker#comments Sun, 01 Aug 2010 20:45:30 +0000 ineta http://wonderocity.com/?p=222 We have two horses: Princess Adora who is Dutch Warm Blood and Tango who is a Thoroughbred.  Interesting how both of them have different personalities.  Princess Adora is unbroken and wild spirit, but very sweet horse when she wants to be.  Tango is a rescue, retired racing horse.  Princess is super smart and very curious about everything.  Tango loves to eat.  As long as he gets food, he does not care about anything else.  Princess keeps Tango in check.  If she senses it will rain, she nudges him to go under the roof of stalls.  Princess also keeps Tango on his toes.  I swear she can count.  If I give a larger flake of hay to him, she knows it. They both are best friends forever, and I love them so much.

Just after the shower, Princess rolls herself in the sand.  It is a cunning way to get another shower.  She LOVES water!

Sometimes there is a surprise waiting around the corner. Yesterday I was be-friended by three horses. As I drove by, I saw them coming to me. So, I stopped the car and went to see them closer. They greeted me as best friends. There was such a connection, I cannot explain. As I talked to them, they closed their eyes from pleasure… At some point, they even fought for attention. :-)
