Wow! What a journey has been, and still is. What a great adventure!
It’s been seven incredible years of transformation. Thanks to my loving mom and brother and my strong will, I rebuilt myself from the ground up.
Instead of being weak, I became strong. I regained my strength back by walking barefoot in the sun and spending time in a quietness of nature. Once I realized that “The past is powerless” from the book “The Power of Now,” my heart became light and filled with love. I feel free. Instead of looking back, I look at now and forward. Instead of being angry and heart-broken, I forgave. That took a huge stone out of my chest. By attending Landmark Forum, I realized I am not afraid anymore. I became brave by challenging myself to speak in front of everybody. Public-speaking was one of my greatest fears, and I overcome it. Most of my life I was shy. Right now I am self-confident. Each moment in life is precious and I love everything about it. I am happy and I love to bring sunshine to people’s lives. Like in the book “A Path with Heart” Jack Kornfield writes, “He (Dr. Wing Tsit Chan) offered a happiness that was not dependent on any of the changing conditions of the world but came out of one’s own difficult and conscious inner transformation.”
The most recent and most incredible miracle is regaining my eyesight back. I am training my mind to see. If I would be fearful and still self-conscious, this would be impossible. I would probably would not even try. I wore eyeglasses since being a teenager. Right now, I did not put my eyeglasses back on for over a year. According the chart, I saw 20/200 a year ago. Right now, I can see in 20/30, 20/25 and even some 20/20 range. I am determined to see 20/20.
I love to find myself in uncharted territories. I love to push myself to the limits. Wait, I have no limits. I love to experience new things, to see, read, listen, touch, feel.
I read a lot, analyze, see, hear, and love to learn. Through my eyes and camera, I see beauty in life, animals, people, places. I love to inspire people through what I see, what I feel and what I learn. There is so much wonder in life. If we only would stop for a moment to see it.
This is how Wonderocity was born. I wish to share what I’m seeing and learning and inspire you, my readers, to be the best you can be and lead a great life, to kick obstacles out of the way and not let anybody or anything stop you.
